RE: AIWA XD-DV485 region hack
John,
I have just posted a new thread with the hack that worked for my Aiwa xd-dv270 which looks identical to the xd-dv370 & xd-dv480 models externally. It is worth a try ! I tried all the hacks I could find on the web for Awia models without success. The hack I used came from an Aiwa workshop technician & worked 1st time. Let me know if it works for you.

Power `ON`
Disc Tray `OPEN`
press A-B button on remote
press `UP` arrow (cursor around `ENTER` button)
press `LEFT` arrow
press `DOWN` arrow
press `RIGHT` arrow
TV screen shows REGION FREE (momentary)
