i was wondering if anyone knows why my phillips dvd 710 player will not play svcd`s ???i can play multi region and cdr`s on it no problem but when i try and play svcd`s the display says no disc ???help...

thanx but after looking at the firmware i find that my player is a 5.02e model !!!so is there a chip i can get or a service disc ??if so where and roughly how much ???paddy..
