RE: Looking for a multi-regional hack for a Sanyo DVR-V100E.

Was thinking of buying one of these myself, however seen Amazon.co.uk has a link for the SANYO DVR-V100E multi region hack.

Let me know if it works.....

Sanyo DVR-V100E DVD Recorder/VCR Combination

Press the `Set-up` button on the remote control
Select the `System Info` mode from the on-screen menu
Using the remote control 10-key type in `1101`
`Region code` should appear as an option on the `System Info` menu. Initially the region code will be set to 2. Press `0` on your remote control using the 10-keys to set to multi-region.
Press `OK/Enter` on the remote control.
Finish by pressing the `Set-up` button once more

RE: Lite-On LVW 5006 Disc Recognition Problem

Get rid of the machine, I`ve had mine for 13 months with nothing but problems.
Most of the time it won`t recognise -RW discs with content burned by the recorder itself, now it fails even to see -RW, as either being NO DISC or INVALID DISC.( even when erased by recorder or NERO on PC). Blank -RW sometimes get prepared then at 99% system says INVALID DISC.
Firmware is the latest v0101, downloaded from LITEON webpage.
Even with +RW discs, when trying to view content it jumps, freezes and a constant pain in the butt.
Waste of money in my opinion.

Pioneer DV-343

I`m looking for a remote hack for a Pioneer DV-343 (multi-region), which disables the macrovision so I can backup films to watch on VHS.
So far been unable to find any links which can help with my request, as I have R1 & R2.

Can someone offer some guidence on this issue??
