I had a similar problem with my Panasonic set up. Turn down the volume totally on your Tv set. Look at the balance of the speakers. Adjust it so back ones are louder. If I recall right thats what fixed mine

Check out the thread already going `DVD 500 quid budget` or something similar. They are discussing the Sony stuff there. I think what it all boils down to is - are u going to want the flexibility to upgrade. I have a all in one system and its great, easy for me to put together and control. But if you get seperates u can swap in newer stuff as time goes by and the sound is better. but im quite happy with mine, was cheaper than seperates and in a few years time i will put it in the study and get a new one for the lounge

courts is the furniture place and powerhouse is their electrical bit. most powerhouses have closed down but some remain, such as lakeside, and they will be closing on sunday, hence much cheapness til then. im waiting for a call back from them to tell me which stores still have the powerhouse thing

Saturday morning - hooray. I think they are quite new as the order no. i was given was very low. Very high P&P rates but when the DVD is low in the first place, they often work out the cheapest still.

You havent got a duff one - I too had the same problem with the sound only to order another one and still have the same issue. Dont bother with the automatica tuning stuff - it tunes the channels in the wrong order anyway. Manually tune. On the manualk tune page there is something up the top, the first thing to tune, I think it may be a B or something, flip this to the other option, I think an I. That fixed mine. Picture was perfect, just the sound was very dodgy. If it still doesnt work I will look at my TV 2nite and get the correct details for u.

Hi, probably a bit late in the day to be asking this but has anyone had any experiences of dvdpacific.com? Altho their P&P is a lot they still worked out cheaper than anywhere else on a DVD I ordered. Are they reliable?

Bloke I spoke to told me they may sell it in the future but right now they don`t have it and won;t sell it to us at that price. the story changes each time i talk to them.

Yep, you are spot on Mike. They have assigned u a web order id afterall, it just happens they assign u another later for some unknown reason.

Also, as with the letsbuyit.com thing, the downfall there was payment details had not been exchanged. i gave simply my card details and they happily took it. i also have a screenshot, as in the mirror, that they had it in stock. they have magically updated all their website now to show what they really have in stock and what they don`t.

Send a letter rather than e-mail and send it recorded delivery else peeps just ignore. I will do the same. Also at the bottom of the letter say a copy has been sent to your loval Trading Standards altho often they prefer to refer it to the companies local TS

i doubt u will get them, they are deleting orders in bulk and not telling anyone. mine have disappeared as have family and no e-mails

he also said that the stock details update twice a day so i said that those who ordered yesterday should be fine. he refused to comment. it seems they are all getting a little tangled up with what their story is

Just spoke to another individual. I suggested that they were claiming out of stock to get around this price error. He said he cannot comment and when I asked if they would bring em back in a few weeks time at the tother price, he said maybe but my order had been cancelled and thats the end of that.
