RE: Yamada DVD-2100

To make 2100 region free using remote control, make sure there is no disc in the unit.

Using your remote control:

Press Open/Close

Press Zoom

Press A-B

Press Up

Press Left

Press Down

Press Right

You should now see "Region Free" appear briefly on the Television

This should do the trick

Hi Pauline, did you manage to get a hack for the macrovision? I got the lipsynch problem resolved but have not managed to disable the macrovision yet!

You need a software upgrade. Contact technical support listed in your manual and they will send you a disc. My set now works great with VCD`s.

Hi SHA, I am in the same boat and would be extremely interested in any information. Incidently did you know that you need a software upgrade if you want to play VCD as the lip synch is off. Email the beaver group (if in the UK) and they will send you a disc.
