RE: NEW YORK DOCUMENTARY PBS 7 DVD SET

Hello Martin
The box set came on Saturday, so 1 week in total from ordering. As you said, $2.99 p&p is amazing - plus no customs charges on a set of this size!
Now looking forward to sitting down and doing some serious watching.

Regards
Allen.

RE: So how did you get your username then?

NY - because New York just happens to be my favourite destination in the world.
SAVANT - which means `a man of knowledge` because i`ve got a lot of interest in NY :-)

but some of the names my pals give me are more like `abusernames`...

RE: Off Topic: PICO Consul 98 Laptop

If you are using Windows 98 and the processor is (if memory serves right) an early AMD chip it wont install correctly and does crash. You have to go on to Microsofts website and do a search there, you will find a file to install on the laptop before you install Windows.
Hope this might help you.

RE: Pioneer DVD104 DVD writer for pc for £219 (inc vat)

www.121cdr.co.uk are also doing the drive at the same price.

Recommend either Nero or Prassi burning software (I prefer Nero).

Never used Bigpockets but get stuff for myself and friends off 121 all the time and they have never given me a problem.

RE: NEW YORK DOCUMENTARY PBS 7 DVD SET

Thanks Martin
I just saw you mention this in one of the other threads as well.
Have placed an order with playcentric and look forward to receiving the set soon :-)

Thanks

Allen.

NEW YORK DOCUMENTARY PBS 7 DVD SET

Does anyone know where I can get the above dvd set in the UK. It is a region 1 release originally broadcast on PBS tv in America.
I`m tempted to order direct from amazon.com but with a price of $120 and a big box set would probably be hammered by UK Customs :-(
