Thanks but I was looking for a remote or firmware hack. I don`t want to spend money on a mod chip when my player is several years old.

Looking for hack for Koss DVP 2165 (same as 2162, 2163, & 2164)

I just purchased a Koss DVP 2165 DVD player from Target. At $79.00 it`s a great deal and is very compact (about 8.25"x1.5"x6.25"). I haven`t opened it up but according to a post on another site, it has a ESS VideoDrive 4318F DVD decoder chip. I also own an Apex AD-1500 which appears to have the same menu system as the Koss (although my Apex firmare upgrade CD didn`t work on the Koss).

Does anyone know of a hack so that I may play all regions on this player?
