RE: Play.com
hi; glad someone else has a `thing` about this,it ruins your collection,yes, its as bad as the r2 uk dvds full of badges and stickers for irish regulations and others, I do believe that the discs are the same as usa versions,but, are they?;there is a reverse on the sleaves which pxxxxxs me of more as its to make the french prominate over the english, why can they not do a reverse with english only,save costs to me, but there again that to simple for these rocket scientist?;i have deal with play for 4 yrs now and been very happy, till ``spy game`` and ``time machine` now, so have moved to direct inporting, I do understand that the disc has to be over a ammount of £17.oo(approx) to qualify for inport tax/vat;this is not 100% confirmed but differant sources have stated this,never put to the test.anyway cancelled all play orders from now,they were sorry for this but could not help, I did recommend that they displayed a small sign for ref but they seamed to think that it would `put buyers off`, they DO display on there web pages the full english cover? and to the guy above who seems to think tippex will do? have you never seen a quality r1 dvd only the INFERIOR r 2 versions, which of the amount ive seen are subject to little niggly hic ups and sound jerks,NOT TO MENTION THE CUTS FOR VIDEO/DVD RELEASE;;;;;
