Thanks for trying but I think the eprom must be nacked it won`t accept any programmes at all

I plugged the main board back onto the power board at 8:0pm tried the 0123 close with region 1 dvd no go tried 01254 still no go but will play vcds stuck now. U1 on the main board is a TM27c4002 eprom which has a sticker on Wharfdale 750 maybe its puffed out.

I have unplugged the power to the main board for tonight then I will try the 01234 I`ll let you know

I got the hack off the net but it didn`t work

The fault only started after it was blown up by a local thunder storm but I got the parts from RS and repaired the power supply.
