MORE SONY DAVS 550 WOES

In addition to the problem with this machine switching on subtitles at the layer break and and playing back French Forced subtitles I have now discovered that it wont access any special features on Moulin Rouge.

PLEASE HELP US MR SONY !!!!!

I am trying to get this resolved by Sony but could do with a bit more info. On which other forums have you seen this issue raised. And did the problem exist on all discs or just one or two.

Does anybody know if Sony have a software fix for this or are they saying that they are not aware of the problem (as usual)!

I have recently purchased the above and have found a couple of issues on some discs relating to subtitles.

On "Unbreakable" Region 2 I get forced French subtitles which I can not switch off.

On "Oh Brother Where art though" Region 2 I get English hard og hearing captions which I can switch off but they switch themselves back on at the layer break.

Any suggestions.
