Will the DVD Vat free offer currently on the Website spread to the shops?If it does DVD players will no doubt be also VAT free.This has happended in the past.

Before you go,the VAT free offer on DVD `s on the Tesco direct web site might spread to the shops.In the past when it has,DVD players in Tescos were also Vat Free,Just a thought.

RE: Anyone have the Yamaha s510 ?

Hi,
I have just bought this machine which is to be replaced by a Panasonic based model DVD S520 which will probably not be multi-region.The S510 can be made muti region by the the Phillips hack and a One for all remote.
The S510 are really hard to find as Yamaha have sold out,many shops have waiting lists.

If you can get hold of one,get it.Great picture,silent drive,excellent build quality.All that said not as good as the old Toshiba100E,but nearly so.
The 100E would require chipping for multi region.Some branches of COSTCO still have stock of the 100E for £150.
