My DVD finally arrived 22 days after it was put in the post. Is this a record? It only came from Canada - did it go via Antarctica??

I posted another thread asking what was the longest time anyone had had a package in the post. I think I have the record so far because my package finally arrived 22 days after I received the `sent delivery` mail from Canada Post. It looks like Canada Post may be the weak link here - I didn`t have any problems with customs.

clayts, was Crime Pack 2 actually in transit for 3 months or does that period include the time DVDBO took before posting it? What sort of postal service needs 3 months to get a package from A to B??

What`s the longest time a package has actually been in the post?

I`ve posted in this forum because I`ve been waiting for two weeks for a DVD from DVDSoon to reach me. I know that it has been sent because I got a mail from CanadaPst saying so. The delivery email says that it can take between 3 and 15 business days to reach me but the small print on the DVDSoon website says I can`t claim for 90 business days!

What is the longest that anyone has had to wait for a delivery to arrive from ANY supplier? If it`s much less than 90 business days, then I could point DVDSoon to this thread and ask them to be more reasonable. I understand that Play (for instance) will send another DVD after 2 weeks if the original goes missing.

Thanks in advance for any help given. Mods, please move the post to another forum if you think it`s more relevant there.

EDIT: Has anyone had a package in the post for more than 3 weeks and it still been delivered? i.e. don`t include the time before posting.
