What TV?

Hi all,
About 6 months ago I bought a Toshiba SD-3109 player and have it wired through a Pro-logic Technics stereo system, using the 5.1 channel inputs for full full Dolby Digital - and I`m really pleased with the performance so far. My problem is the quality of my TV - a ropey old bog-standard 25" Goodmans job, which I`m desperate to upgrade. Anyone have any suggestions for a TV with the performance to match the DVD player - I`m looking at anything between £700 and £1500 realistically....
I need advice soon, as I keep blowing the money I`m trying to save for the TV on new discs!
