John, I`ve got a pacific 1002and can`t get it to play region 1.I tried whitts hack but still can`t get it to work. Can u help?

The hack posted doesn`t work. I`ve tried the hack suggested by Whitt on 8.11.02 and can`t seem to sort this either.Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
