RE: Philips MX3800D Hack Required

Just continue to put in the code. The hand symbol comes up for me too but it doesn`t stop you using the hack. Just take time and make sure buttons is pressed properly but don`t take too long.

RE: Philips MX3800D Hack Required

Any idea of a multi region code? Another thing that basic code works for Region 3 as well.

RE: How to hack PC DVD players so that you can change region at will?

Check out DVD Region-Free, which might let you change it without firmware!

RE: Philips MX3800D Region Hack Required

Well here is a wee thing that I have found out - when you press

play
1
5
9
play

it displays the number 25 on the screen. I`m guessing this refers to the number of times region can be changed. Does anyone have any idea on how to actually change it though?
