Buying from Abroad

Hopefulyl this is in the correct forum!!

I used to use a website that searched lots DVD sites around the world, but I can`t remember it!!!

Can anyone recommend a good DVD search/price comparision site, or good sites to buy from the US or Australia

Advice on Buying DVDs From Abroad

I`m new to these forums and I`ve noticed that alot of people are getting cheap DVDs from Austraila. I`ve never brought from outside of the UK.

Is there much of a saving after shipping costs? Do you have to pay import tax, or anything to the taxman!!?

Also how long does it take??

Any help/advice greatly appreciated

Aiwa HT-DV1 can it be Hacked

Hi,

I`m looking to buy an new DVD player and am looking at the Aiwa HT-DV1. My old DVD player was multi regional and I have some region 1 DVDs.

My question is, can this player be hacked?? I understand it`s quite new and a hack might not be available. How longer does it normally take before a hack is found?

I have an old Multi-Regional Pioneer DVD player and am looking to get a new one, with home theatre. I have seen the Aiwa HT-DV1 and like the look of it, but have not been able to find any reviews on the net.

Does anybody have this player and can recommend it??

Also would I be able to mack this multiregional through a remote control hack? As I`ve seen that you can hack some Aiwa DVD players this way.

If anybody knows the hack it would be greatly appreciated
