RE: HACK WANTED FOR TOSHIBA SD220E DVD PLAYER

Toshiba are notorious for not being able to be hacked. However, I have heard that the following cheat works on most Toshiba players:

1. Play an unprotected Region 1 disc (eg a trailer disc) in the Player.
2. When it gets to the FBI Warning Screen, open the disc drive (without stopping) and replace with the protected Region 1 disc you wish to view;
3. Press Play and the Player will be fooled into thinking that you are still playing the unprotected disc.

I don`t know if this works but it certainly sounds plausible.

I have also read that the following can be entered by the remote for a Firmshare Upgrade. Press POWER - ZOOM - 6 - 0 - 6 - ZOOM

RE: Toshiba SV220E Region Hack

I haven`t tried it myself but it does sound plausible
