RE: B&W playback Region 1 with Sony DVP-NS700 Multiregion DVD Player

If your TV will accept RGB input (like mine ;) ) set the output of your NS700 to RGB as well (like mine ;) ).

RE: Pacific 1002 - Jittery Picture when watching Reg.1 DVDs

Will your TV take RGB input as I assume your DVD player will output in RGB if you configure it?

I have RGB output to my TV and I dont get any picture problems at all no matter what region or TV standard is on the DVD disc. In fact, with RGB I get a crisper picture.

RE: Back to the Future Menus

Yep, I get that too, but only when I play the DVDs on my PC. I use PowerDVD and the workaround is to select Root Menu from the menu button on the controller window.

When I play them on my Sony DVD player they work fine.

Anyone know a solution to this?

RE: roadstar 1090 region free or in need of a hack?

Would you happen to know if this works for the Roadstar DVD3000 portable DVD player?

Roadstar DVD3000 hack?

This is a portable model from Roadstar. I`ve read the thread about the RoadStar 1090 but I`ve not had a chance to try it out yet.

Does anyone know if the 1090 hack will work for the DVD3000? If not, how or where can I find out what or if the hack is.

TIA

Pete
