Hack for Region 1 Daewoo Needed

Can anyone please help with a multi-region hack for my current region 1 Daewoo DVG 8500N? I paid a `scammer` a good sum for a hack on a different web site, but received nothing!! Lesson learned!

Hope you don`t mind me writing. I have the same Sanyo Home Theatre system that I want to play `R1` DVD`s on. Did you have any luck in `fixing yours?`, if so could you please tell me how I can do it.

Hack required for Sanyo DVD DC-AVD8501

I would be very grateful if anyone can help. The DVD is currently R2 and I would like to be able to play R1 also.
