RE: green/static flashing on Acoustic Solutions 551

Thanks Steve

Did a quick test with a friend with a 551 model earlier today and his worked perfectly, so took your advice and took it back to Richer Sounds, no quibbling, just got a brand spanking new Acoustic Solutions 651.

Cheers

green/static flashing on Acoustic Solutions 551

Hi

Have got an Acoustic Solutions 551 which for the most part am very happy with, plays most formats of disc, multi region hacked, but I`ve come across a problem recently that`s driving me mad! Most dvd`s play fine but a few (Shrek, Harry Potter, Star Wars:Episode I) lock the whole system up with a flashing green and static screen that can only be cleared by pressing the power button. Shrek wouldn`t play at all, but on the other two it was just on certain bits of interactivity.

Is there a setting I can change, or is it one of those things I`ve got to live with. The machine is about 10 months old, so if this is a fault Richer Sounds should replace it (I hope)

Cheers
