RE: JVC TH-A35

Got upgrade from blue-donkey, works great.

Philips mx1060 NTSC output

I have applied the region hack for this player, and it works fine. The only problem I have is the quality of the playback.
If I use the scart output I get a colour picture with faint horizontal lines running down through the picture. The scart lead has all 21 pins connected ( including RGB) and according to my TV manual the first SCART connector accepts NTSC (4.x and 3.x) - The TV format is set to Auto on the DVD player

If I use the `mon` or `rec` video output to the SCART the lines disappear but there is still a horizontal wave motion down through the picture.- The TV format is set ot PAL-L on the DVD player.

Any suggestions ???????????

I notice that the VCD TV format gives an NTSC option. But unfortunately I dont have any VCDs. ( Can I burn one from web content? or is that a stupid question?)

Thanks for any help you can give
