I always thought that CD Wow sourced from the US or Canada but this morning I received my Moulin Rouge from them, and it was Region 4 Australian.....no complaints here as on my machine PAL always plays slightly clearer than NTSC. Does anyone else find fine horizontal lines across the screen when playing Region 1 discs?

I managed to get Bridget Jones, Mummy Returns and Rush Hour 2 earlier in the day but they are sold out now. They have some good titles there though at amazing prices, wish I`d have got in there sooner..........anybody fancy popping down to Asda for a price match? Ho, and indeed, ho!

Coen Bros Fans!!! Big News!

Just seen that The Man Who Wasn`t There has a release date of 16th April for Region 1. But the big news is that extras include an audio commentary with Joel, Ethan and Billy Bob Thornton. Coen Bros? Commentary? Something of a first I think!

Dunno whether to take the gamble because the one I`m after is a 4 disc affair?

But I suppose if you don`t try you`ll never know!

Absound Box-sets??

Has anyone ever purchased a box-set from these guys? I`ve seen the 1st series of the Sopranos for £42 (inc p+p) and do not want to get stung by customs. Do they take measures to protect against this....e.g. Mark as `Gift` or split the set?

I`ve read that quite a few of you guys have been happy with them in terms of service so I have no worries on that front.

Lecson DVD-900 multi region hack desperately wanted!!!!

I need a region hack for the Lecson 900 DVD. The initial reviews stated that the hack needed would be the same as the Wharfedale 750 (ie open tray, press 0, 1, 2, 3 and then close the tray) however having tried this the on screen display still reads "Invalid region" and refuses a region 1 disc. The Lecson 900 DVD is only available through Debenhams department store and won the best budget DVD player award in What Hi-Fi magazine! Can anyone help?
