RE: For probably the one millionth time.....XBOX or PS2?
I really feel sorry for you, well at least you`ve proven exactly the point I was making. You really really love your PS2 it`s quite disturbing. You should really think before you post next time because you look a fool already.
RE: Xbox clock resetting. Problem?
Don`t unplug it, just switch the Xbox off it will still use a small amount of power to keep the time settings.

Wow Ironduke, you really do love your PS2. I wasn`t even knocking it just telling the truth the Xbox is by far the better machine. Why are you getting so defensive? did I hit a nerve? Your still comparing multi format games which do have the same poly count or whatever, but you know and everyone else the reason for this as I explained last time. Developers can`t make the games specifically for each console they just can`t afford to. So they use the common denominator being the PS2 wake up fool.
You really need to get out more, there`s more to life than defending the pride of the out dated overpriced machine which is the PS2 the truth hurts doesn`t it?

RE: For probably the one millionth time.....XBOX or PS2?
No probs Pete
For football theres Fifa 2003 which is actually pretty good and Dino crisis 3 is on the way. Obviously not as good a the resi series but it`s looking good so far.
One game you should check out thats coming only on Xbox is Fable this is gonna be huge, it`s being published by Lionhead studios so see there web site.
RE: For probably the one millionth time.....XBOX or PS2?
Come on now, you know theres no difference for the obvious reason it`s a multi format release. The Xbox PS2 and the Cube screens look the same because the developers can`t afford to utilise each machinces strengths, you`ll never see Halo on the PS2 not just because Microsoft own Bungie but because its impossible. The PS2 could`nt even store 1/2 of 1 of the levels in Halo because it hasn`t got the processing power or the memory. You love your PS2 fair enough good for you, but the fact is it`s only got 1/4 the power of the Xbox and it shows. Look I love games too and own all 3 consoles , but I play the Xbox most. PS2 really shows it`s age after you`ve played Halo or Gotham. The guy asked a question Xbox or PS2 I just gave him a honest none bias after all it`s alot of money to shell out, I just gave him the facts.

RE: Digital optical input
Oh well, never mind thanks anyways
RE: For probably the one millionth time.....XBOX or PS2?
Xbox, just do the maths. £169 with 2 free games, hard disk, real time 5.1, better dvd play back,
PS2 £169 no games no hard disk 5.1 only on dvd`s, add £38.99 for a memory card and £20 for a game.
Or just hire them for week each.

RE: For probably the one millionth time.....XBOX or PS2?
It`s got to be the Xbox real time 5.1, hard disk so you never need a memory card theres £30 saved, play your own tunes while playing games, Live. Fact is the PS2 is old looks it and plays it. I`ve got both and can honestly say the Xbox isn`t just better it`s in a different league. If you`ve ever played Halo you`ll know what i mean, it`s not just the graphics or sound( which are fantastic anyway) it`s the it way plays and feels it`s the realism. You just don`t get this with the PS2 and never will because it just can`t do it. Bottom line the PS2 isn`t any better than the Dreamcast and in alot of cases worse. My advice hire them for a week each then you`ll know.
RE: Digital optical input
No it hasn`t m8. It`s only got phono inputs so i`m stuck with Halo on pro logic. It`s a 4 unit system dvd/cd 5 changer, tape deck, tuner/amp and sound processor. All linked together by falt connectors, it`s driving me nuts it`s got a 5.1 decoder and I can`t aceess it. I was wondering wether an optical input could be connected to the dvd unit. In the manual it says the 5.1 decoder becomes active when it receives a dobly digital signal.
RE: Project Gotham Racing - Finally got the F50
I`ve got all golds you get unlimited jokers which is cool my current kudos stands at 723500. the hardest golds to get for me where the aracde races, on v hard it takes pure luck. Using manual gears(hope i`m not stating the obvious) makes it alot easier.
