Awia 370 and Comet Question

I am going to purchase an Awia 370 tomorrow from the local Comet store.
But, has any of you bought one from Comet that did NOT work with
the remote hack within these fine pages ??

Also if I wanted to try and get a price match which online sites are selling this player under 200.

Scan DVD Player Any Good ??

Hi

I was considering buying one of these plays but have seen alot about these players onthe news groups having problems with the player
with lip sync problems and also having problems with Scan when trying to get a new player.

Are these player really that bad or are they pretty good ?
If you have one what features do they have Region free wise do
they play RCE discs ? do they play cdrs ? Can Macrovison be disabled ?

I thought it played MP3 cds but was not to sure are the later 750s the
same internally as the new ones ??

Seems strange the newer 750s` use the same region code hack as the earlier but do play the Patriot.

Difference between 750s and 750 ??

I took back my Ariston 2000 due to problems and went up to Tesco
to get a 750s problem is they had 2 750s` but no 750s`s.

Do the 750s box say 750s on the box ? I had an old 750 last year and the remote of the current one sees to be very different. However a mate
got a 750 a few months ago and it plays The Patriot fine ??

My question really is do the later 750s` play the patriot or is it only the 750s. Does the new 750s play MP3 cds ?? I read on a news group it
does but does it ??

Ariston 2000 - Macrovison Off and FBI Warning Skip Enable

Hi

I got one of these and know how to get to the engineer menu but
how do I turn of Macrovision what code should be entered ??
Also there is an option to turn of probh warning does this allow
you to skip the warning at the start of the dvd ??
If so which code should be used ??
