RE: Sub £40 DVD Recorder with upscaling and HDMI

OK I have now had a few more discs playing and the better quality originals give a very good upscaled picture, some look better in 720p than in 1080i.

RE: Sub £40 DVD Recorder with upscaling and HDMI

Got one and set it up today. The upscaling does not seem that good really, certainly not nearly as good as a PS3 however I have not tried many discs yet. It is multiregion out of the box however and for the price it is good enough really so no complaints.

RE: Free £10 Laredoute Voucher - no P&P

Just ordered from the sale and it worked fine, thanks.

RE: `Free` Budweiser email ?

It`s free. That`s a bargain possibly.

RE: Free Gillette razor.....

Mine came today. Top of the range Nitro. This was an upgrade offer so if you did not say you were using another manufacturers top of the range model then maybe that is why you would then receive a lesser model.

RE: Free Vodafone Sims

Excellent spot by OP. Thanks.

RE: Genus Vizo 1Gb Portable MP4 Player - Was £149.99 Now £49.99+extras

Just picked one up also, what would be the best (easiest to use also) software to start converting DVD`s to use on this?

Thanks for any help and thanks to OP for spotting this.

RE: Clockwise DVD in News of the World

Yes, we got it last week in the Cheshire/Merseyside area.

RE: Cheap Play Equipment at B&Q

Yep, me too. Disappointed not to get the bargain but at the end of the day I now have £20 free gift vouchers so it could be worse.

RE: Free A4 Laminator when you buy 3 packs of Laminating Pouches...and other offers

Hi, bought an A4 laminator for £24.99 with free pouches in the Port arcades Ellesmere Port. 25 pouches for £5.00 if you want more. An A3 laminator is the ting to go for for £100+ surely.

RE: Fuji A405 Digital Camera 4Megapixels ?99 @ Currys

I use a FUJI S602 Zoom, 3.2 Meg but interpolates to 6 Meg. Fuji is a very good producer of digital cameras and at the leading edge with others, I also have a Kodak which is my son`s toy, OK but not in the same league. 2 Meg will give quite good results at 10" by 8" anyhow, how big are you planning to go. I use 1 Meg for some of my wallpaper on a 19" monitor and it is OK.

8X DVDRW seems cheap to me.

Looks like a good price from one of my favourite sites. Shame I just bought a slower one. Some other good stuff too.

They got in real trouble and did stop selling a couple of years ago while they got refinanced/bought out. They have been around ever since.
