How to make an LG 8900 region free?
Has anyone come across a working hack for this new LG model (the 8900, or in some countries DV8900 or DVD-8900)?

Thanks John, I`ll wait and see for now then :-) Have a perfectly good multizone dvd player, so no direct need to hack the recorder. Don`t want to take any risks.

Hi Johan,
please feel free to describe how to do this. Just bought a DVDR-70 myself and changing regions by hand might be enough for me (still have my old multizone Philips in the other room, so I`ll only need to do this occasionally anyway)
