RE: Goodmans GDVD 68 MultiRegion Hack Please ?
Thanks for all your help so far.
None of those worked but then I may very well have fat fingers + the remote does not have those exact keys on, so I have had to guess.
I`m happy to take photos of the unit, the remote, setup screens and the insides if that helps identifiy the player and possible cracks, but where do I send them?
RE: Goodmans GDVD 68 MultiRegion Hack Please ?
I deceided to open the player up even though I have only just got it. The major chips are as follows:
UU2 TI, 34A99YTA
UU7 Winbond, 3173H
U8 WM, WM8728
U3 EtronTech, EM638165TS-7
UU1 ALi, M5705
U1 ESS, VideoDrive ES6008F
UU5? Winbond, W39F010P-70B (a square chip, EEPROM I think, like PC ones)
U28 Label covering chip marked 03-29400-15 V1.0
U6 ELAN, EM78P153SP
Any of this lot point to any particular type of hack that I might try?
Anything sound familiar? In the meantime I`ll look at the Tevion hacks
Goodmans GDVD 68 MultiRegion Hack Please ?
I`ve just purchased a Goodmans GDVD 68 DVD player. To be hounest I`m really impressed with it, cost £90 and comes with everything to make it a nice portable player. I`m intending to use it in the car to keep the kids quite. Seems to be DIN E size and so it will fit in the dash. Also seems to handle the bumps well.
Anyway, anyone know of a MultiRegion hack for it? It seems to be based on the ALi M5705 and a ESS E6008F chips, if that helps.
Cheers
Gary
