RE: MP3 CDs on a Wharfdale 750S (new model)

I`m not getting an output on MP3, but I only have an analogue amp. Is this the reason?

CD playback problems of Wharfedale 750s

When playing an audio play on cd, I found that the machine introduces pauses between tracks/chapters. As sound is supposed to be mixed across the the track then this is causing a break in the content. I have tried a number of audio play discs, including Dr Who (new adventures from Big Finish), Dr Who (old stuff from the BBC), Goon Shows(BBC), and some music CD`s including Pink Floyd`s `Dark Side of the Moon`, `The Wall` and Jeff Wayne`s `War of the Worlds`. In all cases the player pauses between chapters causing a break in the action where there should
be none. All discs play fine on my regular CD player so they can`t all be faulty. Since playback of CD`s is an advertised feature of the 750s there should be no problem.

I have also tried at least one of the discs on a chums Panasonic DVD player with NO PROBLEM between tracks.
