RE: Aldi DVD burner £79.99 & other stuff

external usb hd, yes mate load drivers in that should come with the kit and when u plug into usb, extra removable hd will appear, with hd`s its far better to have usb 2.0 has its 20x faster than the older 1.1usb, all depends on your motherboard if it has version 1.1 or version 2.0 but should run on either just quicker access and transfer speeds on 2.0, check your motherboard manual or if u look in your device manager should say version 2.0 like mine.Ive used a few of these external hd`s on a few pcs find windows 2000 pro and a usb 2.0 will give best results, also if u intend to plug this hd into more than one pc check there operating system ie windows 98se/ me/ 2000 pro/ xp all support usb devices but if windows 98se/me do not support ntfs file format(windows 2000/xp do support ntfs) so hd will have to be formatted in fat 32 for these os`s to work with it, hope this is of help to you.
