How old for Nintendo DS

Hi
Thinking about getting my 5 year old a Nintendo DS with Nintendogs game for Christmas, but he is only 5 years old. Will he be too young for a DS and will he be too young to be able to play Nintendogs? Any help or opinions would be a great.

Prism multi-region dvd player and 8 films for £39.99 at Amazon

Just found and ordered this prism multi-region dvd player on amazon with 8 reasonable films for £39.99, with postage and vat it came out at £45.88 all in. Thought it would make a nice christmas pressie for mum and dad. Says it comes with a scart lead and has five star reviews on the site! Seems fairly nice looking and has a display on the front which is a bonus for a really cheap player, also on the tech. bit it says it will play just about anything I`m going to throw at it. Delivery within a couple of days.
Hope its as good as it seems!!
Would have done a link, but have never done one and I`m sure I`ll make a mess of it!
Perhaps someone could do one for me!!

They do the same player with 50 films for £69.99.
