Anyone know if they`re planning releasing series 2 of Columbo on DVD? I just got series 1 for £17.49, not bad for a 6 disc set.

Is this on DVD? By the way, if you haven`t seen it it is excellent. I`m talking about the Gary Sinise version by the way, i don`t know if there are any other versions.

Lol. It`s worse at the cinema, you`re sitting there with your mum or whatever and an advert for condoms comes on, it`s 100 times worse on the big screen.

One night i swtiched onto late night channel 4 and caught Ringu, i missed the intro and knew nothing about it. It really scared me and stayed in my mind for ages. The re-make and hype has kind of spoiled it now and it`s not as scary. It was scarier when you knew nothing and just let the film speak for itself. All the attention and gushing quotes do it no favours really.

It`s hardly credible but this is the rumour that i heard: If Terminator 4 goes ahead, Arnie might be replaced by a younger actor. Rumour has it that Arnie himself has suggested The Rock for the role. As far as i know there has been no response from The Rock as yet.

I`m not sure if i believe this but if does happen i`m not sure i like the idea of The Terminator films becoming a James Bond type ongoing series. IF Terminator 4 is made them Arnie must be in it. A cooler idea for me is if Arine is the good Terminator again and The Rock is the T - 2000. Since the enemy Terminators have always been smaller, it would be interesting to have one that matched Arnie physically.

*Star Wars (the most blatent example for me since the hype is astronomical)
*Spielberg films
*Lost In Translation (wasn`t bad, just could have been a lot better if they had changed some of the boring, pointless sequences like the partying)
*The Shawshank Redemption (who the hell decided this was so great?)
*Mission Impossible
*In The Bedroom

Is there going to be a Terminator boxset?

I`m dying to buy T2 on DVD already but if a boxset is planned i`d rather wait. Any word on this?

I don`t want widescreen because it looks awful on my TV! My screen isn`t that big and with two black bars taking up half the screen it`s worse. Are all R2 DVDs like this? (i only just got a DVD player for Xmas).

Help! I think i just accidently bought the widescreen version of the theatrical version by mistake :( It never said widescreen on the front cover and since they only had one copy left on the shelf i just kind of grabbed it wihtout reading the back. Thing is i don`t want the widescreen version and my friend said that all the theatrical versions are widescreen and if i want non - widescreen i`ll have to buy the extended DVD.

LOTR Two Towers Q`s from a DVD newbie

1) Does the extended edition include the original version of the film as well or just the extended version?

2) In the 2 DVD version (is it called the theatrical version?) How many discs is the film spread over?

3) I`m not usually into behind the scenes stuff (cos it spoils it for me, kinda) Is it still worth buying the extended edition?
