RE: DVD Shrink 3.1

Yes, DVDShrink3.1x can backup my DVD very quick and fast with my AMD 2200XP processor.

However, I can only use PowerDVD or DVDShrink to play the Backup VOB files.

If I use DivX Player2.5 or Windows Media Player9 to play the Backup VOB files individually, the movie will be stopped somewhere in the middle or some of the sections inside the VOB file are skipped and cannot be played.

Also , the DivXPlayer or Windows Media Player 9 do not have sound when it play some of the Backup VOB files.

I also try to use VirtualDub to convert these Backup VOB files but VirtualDub just fail to decode the vob file with error message "pack synchronization error".

What is wrong with those Backup VOB files ? Are the Video streams comply to MPEG2 packet format and the Audio comply to AC3 standard or they are proprietary ???

????????????????
