Just to add to the confusion. My father has the same problem with his copy of TTT film disc. It also freezes at 31 seconds (the point at which the legal blurb ends and the track to the film menu kicks in). But the features disc which is part of the same package glitches slightly at this point but plays on.

I have the same machine as my Father (750s) although mine is a year older. I tried the same disc on my machine and...it plays perfectly. This indicates that it isn`t simply the film that`s at fault here. It could be that there has been a software/hardware modification to the machine since I bought mine, and this might cause some discs to be less compatable with the player.

Either way, if there`s a foolproof workaround for `Big Freeze at 31`, I`d really like to hear it.
