Multi region hack for Philips DVDR 77 needed

Does anyone know of a multi region hack for my Philips DVDR 77. There must be one because I saw you could buy a region-free one from Sweden.

Help: Need region hack for Philips DVDR77

I need a region hack for my Philips DVDR77. I have tried the hack for the Philips DVDR75 (<play>159 121212005255 <play>) but that didn`t work.

Actually this time I got so far that I could see all the dashes. I entered the code and turned off the DVD player for 10 seconds. It still didn`t work.

After entering the code should I enter OK or something else?

Yes, I tried your hack. First I set the remote to DVD player. Then I opened the tray and typed 0 5 times. The first time I entered 0 the tray closed.

Need region crack for Philips DVDR77

I need help to hack my DVDR77. I need to turn it into multi region or at least be able to switch between region 1 and 2.

I have tried typing <play> 159 but that only changed to channel 9.

I also tried to open the tray and type 0 5 times as descrived the the DVDR75 thread. As soon as I typed the first 0 it just closed the tray.
