PLEASE HELP BEFORE I THROW THIS THING OUT THE DOOR - I read all the reviews on this forum before buying this player so I could play all my region 1 discs as my Philips lx9000 was not hackable and I thought it was "region free out of the box". It aint. What am I doing wrong? Is there a hack for it?

Have just bought one of the above and want to play region 1 discs - whats the best way to do it - I am lead to believe that the Philips locks up after 25 times - don`t want that to happen really - can anybody help??
