RE: What are www.buyit247.co.uk like?
Well, would you order anything if they say 14-28 days delivery time?
Btw, yesterday I had an highspeed shipping experience. It was the very first time I ordered a dvd from Australia. After entering my order on ezydvd.com.au I received the usual mail "thank you for your order blablabla...". The astonishing thing was that I received another email less than 5 minutes later saying my order was dispatched & shipped!!! now i`m curious how long it will take from australia to austria ;) [sorry for the offtopic]
RE: What are www.buyit247.co.uk like?
Here are the good news of the day: I`ve been talking to somebody here in Vienna/Austria this evening who has received the ordered dvds this morning. However, he had ordered them on 27th of Februrary.
This is what i think: buyit247.co.uk has just nothing in stock. when you order something they first take your money which they need to get the dvds from their wholesalers. so it takes about 3 weeks or more until we get what we ordered.

Sounds like good news. At least we know `somebody is doing something there`.
My buyit247 story:
I tried to order Stargate Season 5 Box Set and shipping to Austria. On check-out the shop-system told me `Cannot ship item over GBP 18 for tax purposes.`. So I started playing around with the shop system and entered Germany, Andorra and some other european countries. Guess what happened? All other european countries would have been accepted. Finally I found a solution: It is possible to choose `European Union` as country (which is accepted for free shipping, too) and I have entered AUSTRIA in the county-field (since it is not used in Austrian adresses). Now I`m curious if I ever get a package...
Btw, yesterday the order status changed to `processing`. No money was taken from my credit card until now.
