RE: Got a free simcard knocking about? Download the latest albums for FREE
If you haven`t got a free sim then you can get TWO here http://www.virginmobilesimoffer.com each with £5 worth of FREE airtime credit! This offer is for today only so get a move on !!!
Enjoy!
Got a free simcard knocking about? Download the latest albums for FREE
I would imagine that a large number of people here have applied for at least one of the free SIM card offers that come up from time to time with Virgin, Orange, O2, Vodafone etc.
Most come with a certain amount of free airtime credit on them and now that they are virtually worthless on eBay, most people wonder how it can be used effectively?
Well, someone at rpoints has come up with a method of downloading the latest albums online (or tracks of those albums if thats all you want) using the free airtime on the SIMs, with most albums costing about £2 in free credits.
Its quite complicated and lengthy to explain in any detail but you can find a full discussion on the method and any workarounds here http://www.rpoints.com/bb/viewtopic.php?p=554028#554028
Enjoy!

Motorola SLVR L7 with 1000 minutes per month of free calls ~ £1.33 per month
Trendy ultra-thin phone with camera and bluetooth - in fact a mobile you`d be proud to own 8)
Its with e2save (part of the Carphone Warehouse Group) on Orange
And if you factor in the £15 you get as cashback from rpoints (details here http://www.rpoints.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=1027809 ) it works out at just £1.33 per month, this includes 1000 minutes (yes, you read that right, one thousand minutes!) of free offpeak calls to landlines or other Orange Mobiles each and every month, and they`ve even thrown in 30 free video minutes per month too :)
Time to scrap your landline?

Quote:
BEFORE PEOPLE JUMP INTO THIS,YOU NEED TO PAY £ 32 A MONTH NORMAL LINE RENTAL B4 U GET CREDITED IN MONTHS 4/8/12 BY SENDING YOUR BILLS BACK TO CPW.
Full details of the cashback available from Carphone Warehouse can be found here http://media.phonehouse.com/mediaserver/servlet/AssetServer?id=VIRGIN133632&ver=2&RD=YES
re: Nokia 2600 - £1.74 per month (includes phone & 100 mins talktime & 200 texts per month)
This deal just got even better!!
Because Carphone warehouse will give you £20 for your old phone.... any old phone, most people will by now have several gathering dust at the back of a drawer somewhere!
Quote:
Trade in an old handset
With your new handset we will send you a pre-addressed freepost bag and a claim form. You can receive the following discounts:
£20 (£10 for the handset, £5 for the charger and £5 for manual).
You should complete the form and return the old phone (and the manual and charger where applicable) to the address on the envelope. The mobile you trade-in must be in full working order. Once we have received your trade in we will post you a cheque to the value of the trade-in amount within 28 days.
So £2.99 for 12 months = £35.88
Less £15 cashback from rpoints = £20.88
Less £20 from Carphone Warehouse = 88 pence..... thats for a whole year with 200 free texts and 100 free anytime any-network minutes each and every month!!
So why not get one (or two) and keep it alongside you house phone and use it to make all your national calls or even calls to mobiles.... (its free to use up to 100 minutes per month)!
Fill yer boots!!
I`ll edit the title of my original post to reflect this new twist
(did read Nokia 2600 - £1.74 per month (includes phone & 100 mins talktime & 200 texts per month))

Nokia 2600 - just 88 pence!!! (includes phone & 100 FREE mins talktime & 200 FREE texts per month)
OK, it may not be the most hi-tech of phones but a handy emergency phone for your aged mum, or the kids, or just to keep in the car, etc... at this price you simply cant go wrong!!
Its with Carphone Warehouse on Virgin and the regular price of this offer is just £2.99 per month on a twelve month contract, but if you factor in the 15 quids worth of Rpoints cashback you will get by applying through there, it will cost you just £1.74 per month - thats £20.88 for the entire year! (edit: see post below for details of how to save a further £20)
Details here http://www.rpoints.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=1026465
Don`t want the phone? - sell it on eBay and keep the sim card, as you`ll get 100 cross-network minutes of talktime and 200 texts FREE each month with this deal!
