RE: Wireless Modem for my laptop

Thanks MilesR.

This is exactly what I wanted to hear. I think the Netgear model is the one to go for. It seems to rate quite highly on various sites.

Wireless Modem for my laptop

I have a laptop and would like to use a wireless modem for my broadband connection. I do not have another pc in the house.
My question is, if I simple buy something like this, will that work as a replacement for my USB speedtouch modem? I have read lots of info on home networking and a few threads on here, but they all refer to multiplt set ups which I don`t have.

(It`s an emachines laptop from dixons if the link doesn`t work.)
