About this user: New recruit to the wonders of DVD. Owner of the Wharfdale 750S and a small but growing collection of DVD`s (current fave "Fight Club". Looking to expand my set up into home cinema and am wanting to invest in a DTS system although wouldn`t know where to start. Very excited by the whole scene though.

Long shot I know, but does anyone know if there is a remote hack for the above player?? If not, can anyone recommmend a decent place to get it chipped?

No problems whatsoever. The 750S plays the second disc like it was born to do it.

Well, I bought the DVD this lunchtime, so I`ll watch it tonight and let you all know for certain in the morning.

Funny how with a bit of effort they can bring dead actors back to life but can`t check if a simple disc is compatible with a popular player.

I have recently bought the Wharfedale 750S (about a week ago) and have been looking forward to buying Gladiator this week. Does anyone know if this is a problem on just the original 750 or the 750S aswell?
