I got the s***ty picture, just before my tv switched off, and the player locked up, and I`m sure that the disk was burnt OK, as I`ve made a few in my time ;-)
BTW Encore does indeed rule

I`ll happily burn the updates for people. I`ve done the 2.0 one for myself, but don`t want to use it untill I have the 3.3 as well, as I`ve just got my encore, so I assume that it has the lyp sync sorted. Clayts, can you email it to me as a zip file, and then I can burn it? (assuming that you have it as a file on your PC)

cheers mate, You don`t get any funny questions from encore along the lines of "why do you want to know this? etc. (I`m not sure on the legal aspects of removing macrovision and playing region one discs..

Thanks a lot clayts :) Now all I need to do is gett the fabled 3. whatever firmware gubbins and I`m laughing.. 160 quid with staff discount was that a bargain??
