RE: LG 2330P Hacks!

Ok lets get things straight -
Firstly the number is - `314159 R`
I may have misled you about whether or not this will work without modification to your machine mine was done at source so it depends where you bought it from. Try the remote hack first if it doesn`t work then you may have to get the soldering iron out!
www.dvdchips.co.uk offer mods (home and workshop)

I don`t know about the 3200e - sorry

RE: Region Hack for Panasonic HTC80 all in one

Hi Vark

I think the panny is good for an all in one if you prefer, an uncomplicated system. Setup is a sinch with indivdual control of each of the the 6 sound channels via the remote. The sound is pretty good and will perform well for most movies - the sub is excellent and will shake the place in action movie explosions etc. As a hi-fi system I think it lacks bit of mid range. There are audio sockets for TV; VCR(in and out); and AUX. The 5 disk changer is a good place to store your favourite CD`s and DVD`s and although a bit slow changing.
On top of all this there am fm tuner to boot! I think it out performs the sony equivalent. The downers are no DTS and Multiregion (fussy perhaps)
Well worth the £500 ish they are retailing for if you`re not in to separates

good luck

Region Hack for Panasonic HTC80 all in one

Region Hack for Panasonic HTC80 all in one
My brother treated himself to the Panny all in one box (great for the money) but wants to play my R1 fight club disk.
Does anyone know if this system can be hacked for R1 (soft or firmware)?

cheers

RE: LG 2330P Hacks!

Press "Pause 915314 R pause poweroff poweron" where R is the region you want to chenge to.
After the `915314` you should see `Code` appear on the display.
Apparently the time between pause-pause should be less then 5 seconds!

good luck

RE: best way to go?

I agree with clayts - go for the yammy separates route-you`ll never look back! Richer sounds have the deals if you are not worried about delivery times ;)
I have the yam rds795 and mission speakers all round - shakes the ground. Luckily I still get on with my neighbours!
