RE: Cheap RAM - I think
Watch out for Microdirect, they have poor customer service. Shopped with them for quite a while: one order was shipped in part and when some items did not arrive, they confirmed twice that the items had not been sent, then after a month of waiting declared that they had indeed been sent. Ended up going through Trading Standards, but in the end, gave up, just too mutch hassle. They could not even provide proof of delivery.
Secondly the registration details on their site where not secure, they mailed out other customers details by "mistake" - incompentance is more likely.
I have had very favourable experiences with Aria. The only small gripe is their shipping costs are too high, other than that I have dealt with their customer service and have not been let down...yet.

Have used these guys before, they were reliable. To get member discounts you just have to register some basic details. Website is slow, but some good deals to be found.
RE: Help! I`ve done something bad with my PC!!!
Each disk manufacturer will have a utility that will run diagnostics on their hard drives. Most of these will run from a floppy disk. So get to your disk manufacturers web site and download!
As an added precaution also make sure that you now use a different IDE cable when you connect the drive tonight, to elimate the slight chance that the cable may be faulty.
What you would want to do is have your drive as master, your CD as slave and in your bios change the 1st boot device to "floppy" second to "cd" third to "hard drive". This is normally done by changing the "boot order" or "boot sequence" setting. Toggle your + - keys or page up and down to change selections.
Good luck!
RE: Help! I`ve done something bad with my PC!!!
The first thing you should do is remove all you IDE devices except the drive that has the XP operating system on it and make sure the IDE cable is connected flush at both ends. Start your PC and hit DEL to view you bios. See if your hard drive has been detected. If so, set you bios to defaults, exit the bios and see if windows starts. If not, post what message you recieve.
If it does boot properly, add one device at a time to find out which one is causing the problem, if any.
Cheap CD`s
I have used these guys a few times and delivery and customer service have been good. Well worth a look as you can get a great bargain now and again.
There are bargain buckets starting from £1.99 per cd although not the greatest selection, there are a few good ones further up the price range.
Although the CD`s are tagged as used, the ones I have purchased hasve been in good as new condition.

RE: Very cheap TV`s going fast
A question for you guys. My 32" Tosh is being delivered tomorrow. The thing is that my flat is on the top floor and the stairway is narrow, around 70cm. Does anyone have an idea what the average 32" box dimensions are. The last thing I want to be doing is unpacking the tv before I can get it up the stairs!
