RE: Problem with new AIWA 370

Thanks for clearing that up - the lying monkey told me he had tried the pseudo PAL with both options - but obviously not.

RE: Problem with Aiwa 370 after using firmware display hack!!

I`ve re-entered the region hack a number of times without a problem too.

Problem with new AIWA 370

I`m hoping someone can help me, I bought the Aiwa 370 recently GB firmware (Nicom version 1.2 2000804).

On the set-up I can choose Scart R-G-B, which I much prefer to S-Video.

Anyway I recommended the 370 to a friend who purchase one from Comet (as I did), and Component Video is displayed instead of Scart R-G-B.

Also of concern is that with Pseudo PAL On, NTSC region 1 films are still running at 60Hz which causes flickering on his TV.

RE: PLEASE VOTE! your opinions count..time to let the Aiwa rest

Or maybe my Commodore 64 is better than your Spectrum...

The Aiwa 370 totally r0x0r!

RE: Aren`t we fed with endless Aiwa 370 rocks?

I must admit that having owned both a Panasonic A160 and a Samsung 709 I was most impressed with the Scart RGB picture and the features in general.

Indeed, I bought it after reading this forum, I had a little trouble with the region hack, but I can confirm that is does work fine.

I must agree that the "Aiwa 370 rocks" is a bit out of touch, having checked with those in the know with modern web speak the correct term is:

"The Aiwa 370 totally r0x0r, it`s l33t and 0wns j00..."

FFS! Can`t even get the Aiwa 370 from Comet PLEASE PLEASE HELP!

Locally (Bradford) I can`t even get the 370 from Comet AND it`s been removed from their national website, HED have also sold out.

Where can I get the Aiwa from.

I need to buy myself this Christmas present - HELP!

RE: Whats` so Good about the Aiwa 370?

Having seen the recommendation`s on this forum, and the great price at hed, I attempted to order the Aiwa today, hed have sold out and will not have any more stock for at least 14 days.

Anyone know anywhere else where I can get this DVD player for less than £199.99 - the more money I have spare the money I have left for beer.

Cheers,

Ian.......
