Unlocking DVD Players (Multi-Region)

For anyone who can`t find a remote hack for their DVD Player/Recorder, it might be worth trying www.dvdcodes.net who helped me to multi-regionalise my Sony DVD Recorder. They charged £19.99 (and you can pay through Paypal), delivery of a chipped remote within 48 hours and an email from them setting out instructions on how to use it. Sony DVD Recorder RDR-GX3

Hope this might help some of you out there. Just bought the Sony RDR-GX3 DVD Recorder, and couldn`t find a multi-region hack from the handset. Tried the Sony dealers who would charge about 40 quid to do it. However I did find www.sonycodes.co.uk who, for £19.99, send a chipped remote to you which takes about 10 seconds to use, and then return the remote to them. Worked fine for me. Its now multi-regional. :)

Hi Groucho, in case you haven`t found out yet, I`m told the "S" at the end of the description RDR-GX3S is purely to denote the colour of the machine i.e. "S" for Silver.
