RE: Genus Vizo 1Gb Portable MP4 Player - Was £149.99 Now £49.99+extras
Great spot.
I bought one of these after reading the post yesterday. The screen is really sharp. When I showed it to my kids I ended up going back to Currys for 2 more! I got the last 2 in the Edinburgh Currys at Hermiston Gait.
Well worth the £49.99
Thanks again to the original poster.
RE: X-Files Seasons 1-9 £12.97 each at Amazon
Thanks,
I was waiting for the price to drop again. Just ordered all the seasons I needed to complete my collection at the bargain price of £12.97 each.

RE: VIRGIN SALE better than HMV S***e...
I couldn`t quite believe it when I was at my local Virgin in Edinburgh yesterday as they had "The Complete Ripping Yarns" and "Angels in America" for £12.99 each. I didn`t buy them assuming I would find them both cheaper on-line, but I was amazed to see that the best prices I could find both of these titles for on-line was £17.99.
I went back today and luckily I picked up both for £12.99 each.
I think that must be the first time I have found a genuine bargain at Virgin in-store.
Cheers,
Gavin

RE: sainsburys mico r 311 dvd recorder £85
I just had a quick look for a review on this recorder and here`s one I found on the HCC website. http://www.homecinemachoice.com/cgi-bin/displayreview.php?reviewid=4439
In summary it didn`t score that highly as there is no RGB input for recording in good quality, but overall they thought it wasn`t too bad for £200 which was the review price in January this year.
So £85 might be a pretty good deal if you want a basic DVD recorder to replace your VHS unit. It can only record on DVD+R and DVD+RW discs but it can play pretty much anything else.
Cheers,
Gavin.
