Went hunting for these around Brum. The stores seem to have 1 or 2, but none are complete. The stupid store managers won`t allow me to purchase from one store and pick up the missing bits from another, so basically they won`t sell any. Oh well PCWorld are doing their best to stop anyone buying one.

Maybe someone upstairs is telling me not to get one!

Gamecube £40, Gamecube controller £8 at MVC

OK it ain`t as good as the Argos deal (btw Solihull may have one of the Gamecube Donkey Konga packs cus I returned mine to them on 07/03/05) but when I popped into MVC in Coventry they were selling the Gamecube on it`s own for £40. Also an additional offical controller was for £8.

Gamestation do price match but it`s a bit hit and miss (depending on what mood the manager is in, cus the first one said yes then the manager appeared and said no !, so I went to the other one in Brum and they said YES !!!). Also the usual rules apply i.e the store has to be in the same shopping centre/ retail park. But I used up some of my credit notes to do this.

Thanks to the OP, got one of these, much better than my previous tangent model (but that did have a vga output!).

This model played some divx movies fine, the previous one would "judder" on some movies (I guess it must be the bitrate they were encoded at ?).

Anyway the player looks lovley and would recommend it.

2 Official XBox controllers £30 from Virgin

Went into Virgin Megastore in Birmingham and they are selling 2 official Xbox controllers for £30. Considering that they normally cost £50 seemed a good deal to me, but they only had black ones. So I went to a nearby Game & Gamestation and got them to price match and picked up a pair of crystal one`s to match my XBox.

DVD recorder with dv in @ ASDA £149

Not sure how much of a deal this is, but ASDA in Brum are selling a DVD recorder for £149. The front of the player had phono in`s as well as a DV in. As for the brand I can`t remember but I guess it was Pacific but I might be wrong.

Just checked my orde status at the woolies site and there is no longer any status. Clicked on the order to view details, and the price is still there but it no longer shows the items !

My orders made yesterday for 2 the Sony phones still showing pending verification, but then I made another order but for 2 Sagem`s and they were checked out. However the Sagem`s are now showing pending verification as well now.

Nina is correct that both cannot be ordered at the moment.

Looks like we will get zippo ! Oh well worth a try.

How much are the ink refills ? Usually the printers are cheap and the replacment ink carts cost a fortune!

Can u refil them yourself or get them done at those ink filler shops or do I have to but the original ones ?

You are correct, all new camera phones come with £35 airtime, so it may be worth looking at them is you can afford the extra money (which isn`t all that much more considering the airtime is yours to use at your lesuire, and the extra 6 months warrenty).

Also they have this thing called glue, basically you sign up another person and they give u £10 credit. So don`t all rush to by more than one !
