Just a second thumbs up for the Malwarebytes programme. The AV at work would no / did not detect it, but malwarebytes cleared it after a through disk sweep,
Sainsburys - Sunpat Crunchy peanut butter £0.34 (warren st. london)
The small sailsburys by warren St. Underground station (over euston road rather than Tottenham court road). Has Sun-Pat Crunchy peanut butter for £0.34 each. The exp date is FEB 2008.
From looking, I feel this is a store specific rather than national offer.
Peanut butter and bananna sandwiches here I come!!!

PC - eve-online of cource :-)
PSP - Vice City Stories
RE: Virgin Mobile Signal
I use TalkTalk Mobile via T-mobiles network (Virgin use T-mobils network as well I believe). I have not had any problems, and in fact found the signal to be better than o2 in Kent. From being on the train (and yes, I go through ashford a couple of times a month) the network is fine.
If you look on the tmobile web site, there is a section that has the signal quality for a postcode, and a graphical guide to the area.
From my personal experance, orange / Tmobile have better networks that O2 or Vodaphone in the Kent area. I cannot comment on 3 as I have not used them.

Chris

Check out ASDLGUIDE www.adslguide.org.uk

Sainsburys - Singel Disposable BBQ £0.25 each
Just picking up some lunch as I left my food in the kitchen fridge at home, and I see a big standup lorry-style trolly full of single use disposable BBQ`s for £0.25 each. The sign also stated that 2kg charcol was available for £0.50 and lighting fluid for £0.20. There was no charcol left, and only a couple of 1ltr lighting fluids.
Spotted in the small sainsburys by Warren St underground station in London. I do not know if this is a national offer, but might be worth looking out for this weekend.

RE: So... what are you playing just now?
PC: Eve-online and some WoW as the wife likes Wow
PSP: Classics, but mostly as a MP3 and video player now.
RE: ASDA are a DISGRACE
From my understanding, George at ASDA get given what they have, and cannot order.
But if they advertised it, the ASA would like to know as it`s mis-leading, so let them take a a trip down the stairs from Traiding standards big, big brother!.

RE: landline phones
Register with the telephone preference service to stop the call center calls. I have our land line, and mobiles registered and any call we get are reported to the TPS and the information commisioners office.

RE: Ripped off for phone charges!
Complain via www.icstis.org.uk - the premium number watchdog.
- AND -
information commisioners office www.ico.gov.uk
We had had these messages, and mentioned small claims court and got a cheque back from the company that send us messages without permision. But they clain we must have "subscribed to there service". The threat of a CCJ works though.
Can I also suggest you register your number with the telephone preference service - then you have more rights via the european privacy reg`s via www.tpsonline.org.uk from memory.

RE: V for Vendetta £7.99
V 4 Vendetta is one of the best films this year. And one my wife enjoyed.
And at this price it`s good value.

RE: WHATS HAPPENED TO ALL THE BARGAINS THERE USED TO BE ON THIS SITE??
This is the first "bargin" forum I have found. Since then I have also found the www.moneysavingexpert.com But I post my finds here as I am registered with DVD reviewer, not moneysavingexpert.
If you are looking for other monety saving sites, the other 2 are ukhotdeals and fixtureferits ? But personally i only use DVD_reviewer and monetsavingexpert.

PS: Firefox ROCKS!
RE: Which is better on the market. Nokia or Sony-Ericsson
I have a 2 1/2 year old SE P900 - It works a treat, only needed a new battery as the original battery started loosing its charge around the 2 year mark.
If you are looking for a good reliable phone, can I also suggest Samsung. Mrs likes then, and they work well.
PS: if I was getting a phone again, for myself I would be looking at SE.
RE: Samsung D600, Easy to unlock ?
Can I ask where you got your unlocking clip ? my wife wants to move from the D600 to a E350 (girly reasons). The unlocking clip I have seen does the D500 D600 and E350. The price appears to be around £20.

RE: Dell tft monitors from £69.99
xx1180,
regarding UKDVDR - you know so little... I live 1.7 mils from there former location.
The little unit in Margate is closed down, and the web site does not have any contact details any more. So no physical address to contact, or phone. Just the option of a support ticket if you click on the contact option.
I believe they are now under new ownership based in scotland.
Personally, I would not use UKDVDR. I have used them in the past as they where local and after my experances I would prefer to pay the postage and use another company.

Suggestion please: how to increase the volume on PSP
Please can someone suggest how to get more sound from the PSP. Some of my MP3`s are too quiet on the train, and trying to listen to a podcast was close on impossible without my hands over my ears last night. I am still using the supplied sony headset, so if that is a problem, can someone suggest a good (smallish) replacment.
I have (of course) set the volume to the maximum on the PSP.
Thanks in advance
Chris
RE: So... what are you playing just now?
PC: EVE online. I have also installed pirates on the PC to play.
PSP: Midway arcade Treasures. Gauntlet & joust are my favorate 2 at the moment.

RE: Tiscali and Xbox Live
Avoid Tiscali - they are a very very very poor quality & service company from when I used them.
Take a peek over at www.adslguide.org.uk, there forums should help you.

RE: Argos Sale - Creative Zen 20Gb MP3 Player £110
I took the Zen sleek photo I got earlier this month (after reading this thread) back for replacment after it kept freeezing, and only the forward track button would work. The argos store (margate) said the product was discontinued, and gave me a refund.

RE: Broadband Providers. Suggestions Please.

Please remember that some ISP`s are uncapped stilll - like the one I use (too much www.magic.fm and www.eve-radio.com)

EVE ONLINE
Just wondering if anyone else was playing eve-online. Including myself I know of three people playing and I am sure that there must be other people playing.

RE: Tiscali Broadband Keeps disconnecting - help*
I used Tiscali several years ago. They used to block "popular" web sites from there unmetered service, and make you use the pay as you go to access them.
I would argue that they are crap, and insist on a MAC to another provider. You would be best having a look at the ASDLGUIDE forums (www.adslguide.org.uk).
