RE: Aldi DVD Recorded

Tragically it`s only +R & +R/W for recording, but two out of four ain`t bad.

RE: Aldi DVD Recorded

Yes, it does have an analogue TV tuner on board, and as far as I can tell, RGB through SCART.

Recording very good on highest quality (1 hour) and SP (2 hour). Three other recording modes. The lowest quality gives 6 hours per disk. I`ve only tried the first two so far.

Build quality is pretty solid. It looks nice enough. The display is a flourescent blue. The remote control is chunky but pretty comprehensive. It recorded fine on a Packard Bell DVD-RW disk. It has limited editing features for removing chapters and dividing them. The recording played fine on my Acer laptop, but I need to figure out how to capture video from the material I have recorded so that I can edit my clips. Anybody know what software will help me do this?

It is pretty well equipped with inputs and outputs (good to have s-vhs in and out and a spare s-vhs in connection on the front panel.

It also supports progressive scan for improved picture quality, but my TV doesn`t.

All I need now is a region hack and I`ll be quite satisfied.

By the way it is a Tevion MD 80032, manufactured by Medion.
