RE: Samsung 28in Pure Flat Widescreen TV for only £33 + delivery????

This was posted in another forum. I can`t vouce to whether this is legit or not

Mr *****,

re your recent request for information.

As you had confirmation of your order and the Trader took the money the contract was made. By cancelling this, the Trader is in breach of the contract. However, there are no powers available to force the Trader to sell the goods at the original price. The only option you have is if you buy the same goods at a higher price you can sue for the price difference.

If you require more info please call our advice line on 0121 303 6031.

RE: Samsung 28in Pure Flat Widescreen TV for only £33 + delivery????

Of course it isnt a crime. Ebuyer broke there own terms and conditions by taking peoples money and then breaking a contract.

I received an order acknowledgment

Dear xxxxx,

This email is to acknowledge placement of order number xxxxxx.

You have ordered the following items:

Item: Samsung 28`` Pure Flat Widescreen With Integrated Freeview TV + Cabinet
Qty: 1
Cost: 28.08

Shipping method: Super Saver at: 4.39

Subtotal: 32.47
VAT total: 5.69
------------
Total: 38.16
------------

Then a Order Acknowledgement was sent

This email is to confirm that your order (xxxxxx) for the following has been processed and that payment has been successfully taken.

Not only that but they have not even offered to allow us to buy at the new price they just cancelled it.

1.3 By way of clarification, an acknowledgement of your order will be sent to you via e-mail when you place your order, but acceptance of your offer to buy the goods will not take place until after your payment is taken and you receive your acceptance e-mail. It is at this point that a binding legal contract is created and any contract is subject to these Terms and Conditions.

Then I got this email

Regarding Samsung 28inch pure flat widescreen TV (quick find code 86649)

RE: Full Amazon DVD sale list

Bare in mind the links he provided are refferrals (he makes money from this). He has been spamming both Moneysavingexpert forums and HotUKdeals and there just the ones I know about.
