I assume you both mean the ability to copy for example an NTSC video to DVD. I can play both NTSC tapes and Region 1 DVD`s on the Bush but unable to copy.
I also have a Philips DVDR70 Recorder, on this I can record from an NTSC tape using the input scart socket but it only records in B & W.

CORRECTION Region Hack for a Phillips DVDR70 needed

I have followed this thread with much interest. Am I to understand that making the Philips machine multi-region with the informaation given, I will be able to copy some non-copyright NTSC tapes from a multi-region VCR on to disc now? At the moment I can play Region One discs on the Philips but am unable to copy tapes to disc, as it says disc is different format. Thanks, Derek.
